Did Allah perfect the morals of the Messenger (peace be upon him) during the Isra and Mi'raj, and is the Messenger considered perfect in all aspects?
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, possessed human perfection, while absolute perfection belongs to Allah alone. The Prophet warned against exaggerating in his praise and elevating him above his station, saying: "Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the son of Mary. Indeed, I am only a slave, so say: 'Allah's slave and His Messenger.'" He also said: "I am Muhammad, Allah's slave and His Messenger. I do not like that you should raise me above the station Allah عز وجل has bestowed upon me." So, if the intention is his human perfection, then it is correct; otherwise, it is a mistake from which one must seek forgiveness.
