A husband who lies and unlawfully consumes people's wealth commits a great error and sin. He must repent to Allah and restore rights to their owners. It is incumbent upon the wife to advise him, explain the gravity of his actions, and be patient with him, while exercising caution in financial dealings. The wife should not consider leaving him if his condition is otherwise upright.
