Do the daughters of the deceased's full brother inherit alongside the full brother's sons, or is inheritance restricted to only the male children of the brother?

The daughters of a brother have no share in their paternal uncle's inheritance, as they are not heirs to begin with. If the deceased leaves behind only his daughter and three sons of a full brother, his daughter receives one-half as a prescribed share (fard), according to the Almighty's saying: "And if there be but one daughter, she will have half (of the inheritance)." The remainder goes to the sons of the full brother by way of residuary inheritance (ta'sib), equally, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative." Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: the daughter receives three shares, and each son of the full brother receives one share.
