Is the 'Umrah considered invalid, and is the loan taken for it considered to have "brought benefit" because a more expensive gift was bought for the lender (the maternal uncle) with the intention of returning his favor, and how can the matter be rectified, and will the value of the gift be deducted from the last installment?

Scholars differ on the ruling concerning a gift from a borrower to a lender before repayment, holding several views:

1. Hanafis: There is no harm in it. It is better for the lender not to accept it if he knows the reason is the loan. It is permissible to accept it if he knows it is due to kinship, friendship, or the generosity of the giver. He should refrain from it if the matter is unclear. 2. Malikis: A gift from a borrower is forbidden if intended for delay. It is forbidden for the lender to accept it if he knows this, and the gift must be returned. However, if the debtor does not intend this, he may give a gift, but it is disliked for the creditor to accept it if he is someone whose example is followed. The gift is permissible if it was customary between them before the debt, or if a new reason for the gift arose after the debt, such as marriage. 3. Shafi'is: It is not disliked for the lender to accept a gift from the borrower without a condition, but refraining from it is more preferable before the loan is repaid. 4. Hanbalis: It is not permissible unless there was a customary practice between them before the loan. However, after repayment, it is permissible if it was not stipulated or mutually agreed upon.

The more cautious approach is that the borrower should not give a gift to the lender unless it is customary or after the debt has been repaid. As for the questioner, what he did is permissible as long as there was no stipulation or mutual agreement, because it falls under "حسن القضاء" (good repayment), and this gift has no effect on the validity of the Umrah.
