The answer

Biographers mention that Khalid ibn al-Walid had four male children: Sulayman, al-Walid, Muhajir, and Abd al-Rahman. Among his grandchildren was Khalid ibn Muhajir, who narrated from Ibn Abbas and Ibn Umar. Historians have differed regarding the extinction of Khalid ibn al-Walid's lineage; al-Zubayr ibn Abi Bakr stated that they died out, while Muhammad Sa'id al-Urfi maintained that his progeny remained and did not become extinct.
