Is working in a factory that processes animal blood into medicine considered unlawful (haram), given the prohibition of blood in the Quran?

If the blood is processed to transform it into another substance before being manufactured as medicine, then there is no objection to participating. However, if the blood is used directly without transformation, it is not permissible to work with it or assist in its use, because effused blood is impure and it is forbidden to sell or use it except out of necessity.
