Is a prayer, made up at night because it was delayed from its daytime prescribed time due to laziness, religiously acceptable?

If the questioner has made delaying prayer a habit and persists in it, then his sin is great and his transgression immense; due to his disobedience of Allah's command to worship Him and his squandering of its times, which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, clarified through his words and actions, as he said: "Pray as you have seen me praying." Disobeying his Sunnah (definition) and adopting a method based on caprice and laziness is a form of mockery. Therefore, the questioner must repent quickly and not return to this action, for by doing so he would be abandoning prayer without excuse. A group of the Salaf indeed issued fatwas declaring as disbelievers those who intentionally abandoned a prescribed prayer until its time had passed.
