How can one advise a young man who rejects advice and prefers bad company, and how can one gain his companionship to invite him to the right path, especially after he has closed off means of communication?

Allah has enjoined much supplication for the guidance of the young man, and He has enjoined that advice be given with kindness, gentleness, and tenderness, choosing the appropriate time. He cited the verse: "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best," and the Hadith: "Indeed, gentleness is not in anything except that it adorns it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it." If he finds no way to continue his advice, then he should devote his efforts to what benefits him in his religion and worldly life.

He also mentioned that whoever disobeys Allah the Almighty, then he deserves to be disliked for the sake of Allah because of his disobedience, and that a believer should love for the sake of Allah and dislike for His sake, the Exalted. He warned against falling into excessive love which could lead to something worse.
