What is the ruling on seeking a divorce in absentia and falsely swearing to that, and what is required for repentance from it?

The false oath is a grave evil, and its repulsiveness increases if it leads to the loss of someone else's right. Severe warnings have been issued regarding the immersion oath (al-yamin al-ghamūs). As for the divorce, it is not possible to determine whether it occurred or not, due to not knowing the circumstances of the judge's ruling, and the default is that his ruling is enforceable.
