The answer

Praise be to Allah, a woman knows the cessation of menstruation by two signs: dryness or the white discharge. Dryness occurs when the cotton comes out clean without blood, yellowish discharge, or brownish discharge, and the presence of wetness does not matter. If the bleeding stops for less than fifteen days, then she is pure and it is counted as menstruation, and if it continues for more than that, she is experiencing (irregular bleeding). The woman who is experiencing Istihadah follows her previous menstruation period and any excess is considered Istihadah. She performs (ritual purification) and prays with precaution and performs Wudu (ablution) for each prayer.
