Is the spouses' mention to each other of their good deeds (such as charity, prayer, or weeping out of fear of God) considered a form of showing off?

A Muslim's recounting of the good deeds Allah has enabled them to perform is not showing off (riya') if they do not intend worldly gain or praise by it. This is supported by the general command to speak of Allah's blessings, as in His Almighty saying: "But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]."
