Do disturbing dreams and the sensation of electricity upon being touched by a jinn, in addition to symptoms such as forgetfulness, absent-mindedness, academic failure, abandoning prayer, diminishing talents, aversion to family and studies, distress, tension, isolation, and sadness, indicate affliction by the evil eye or sorcery?

We advise performing Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism) and supplication, as they rid the servant of all evils. One should seek refuge from disturbing dreams and not mention them to anyone, and frequently supplicate during hours of responsiveness with the Greatest Name of Allah and the supplication of Yunus (peace be upon him). We also recommend adhering to the prescribed morning and evening remembrances and invocations, and those before sleep, reciting Ayatul Kursi (the Verse of the Throne) in the morning and evening, and the concluding verses of Surat Al-Baqarah every night. Furthermore, one should consistently recite Surat Al-Baqarah in the home every three nights. There is no harm in consulting a Ruqyah practitioner from the أهل السنة (Ahlus Sunnah - People of the Sunnah).
