How can a Muslim determine the appropriate course of action in various situations they face, whether political, da'wah-related, social, or personal?
It is not necessary to define a position or an opinion on every matter that comes our way; many of them do not concern us. As for important matters, they are divided into:
First: Those that exceed our knowledge and comprehension, for which we seek enlightenment from the opinions of specialists.
Second: Those that are clear and impactful, and we form a vision about them by reconciling the opinions of trusted individuals and various reports.
Third: Those that fall within our private sphere, and to form a vision about them, we need to study alternatives, their pros and cons, and compare them objectively. We may also consult those who preceded us in their field, for through cumulative experience, a person gains the ability to evaluate things and situations.
