Does an invalid "mock marriage" entail the same consequences as a legitimate marriage, such as prohibiting its daughters to him or attributing a child to him?

The tahleel marriage (marriage of convenience to legalize a former divorce) is unlawful (haram (definition)) and void (batil (definition)) according to the general consensus of scholars. It does not make the woman permissible for her first husband, nor does it establish 'ihsan' (the state of being married that makes adultery punishable by stoning). However, if consummation occurs, it results in the affirmation of lineage and the establishment of prohibitory affinity (mahramiyya by marriage), because it is a marriage about which there is scholarly difference of opinion.
