It is not permissible to sit in a place where sins are committed, and the situation of cafes today is like that. Smoking shisha is (forbidden). Merely sitting in a cafe near a mosque is not considered mockery unless it involves sarcasm or disdain, because mockery of religious rituals is apostasy. The mosque must be kept far from places of amusement and corruption.
