What is the ruling on a man teaching driving to women and girls?

A man teaching his daughters, sisters, or maharim (unmarriageable relatives) how to drive is permissible because it is a skill a woman might need. If the instructor is not a mahram, it is preferable to seek a female instructor. If they cannot find one and are in need, there is no harm in a man teaching them, provided they adhere to the regulations of Islamic law: not uncovering what is impermissible of the body, avoiding physical contact, and not being in seclusion.
