What is the reward for forgiving people before sleeping?

Forgiving people includes every right a Muslim has concerning their honor and wealth. This is indicated by the general statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Connect with whoever cuts you off, give to whoever deprives you, and forgive whoever wrongs you."

However, forgiveness or pardon for future actions is not permissible, because it would legitimize what Allah has forbidden, such as backbiting, slandering, and insulting. It is a relinquishment of something that has not become due and a waiver of a right before it is established. Forgiveness does not make lawful what is forbidden; rather, it waives a right that has already been established.
