My question is: Is the noble Hadith "No believer will enter Paradise with magic" authentic?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The hadith inquired about by the questioner is the one narrated by Imam Ahmad, Abu Ya'la, and Ibn Hibban. It was graded as hasan (good) by Shu'ayb al-Arna'ut and al-Albani. Its wording is: "Five types of people will not enter Paradise: one addicted to intoxicants, one who believes in magic, one who severs ties of kinship, a soothsayer, and a boastful giver." A hasan hadith is acceptable, just like a sahih (authentic) one.
