The answer

We ask Allah to grant the harasser sincere repentance. In addition to repentance, it is recommended to do good deeds, supplicate, seek forgiveness, and give charity on behalf of the woman's family. Regarding the husband's right, Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah explained that if a man commits adultery with a woman and then repents, he must combine with his repentance good deeds towards the husband by supplicating for him, seeking forgiveness for him, and giving charity on his behalf, because the husband's right concerning his honor is not something that can be compensated in kind, rather it is of the nature of slander.
