What is the ruling of the Sharia concerning one who was subjected to harassment and sodomy, both as perpetrator and victim, and then repented and felt remorse? Is he obligated to repent or to be killed? And will Allah accept his repentance and admit him into Paradise? And should he inform his siblings about what happened, or should he forgive the one who assaulted him?

Entering Paradise without reckoning is a matter that rests with Allah Almighty. One should supplicate frequently and have a good opinion of Him to achieve this. If there has been an unjust assault involving beating, you have the right to retribution, but forgiveness is better and brings a greater reward, while being cautious not to spread anything related to sodomy. It is advisable to strive in obedience, remembrance of Allah, and recitation of the Quran, as these have an effect in dispelling anxiety. In the event of your family asking about the matter, there is no harm in alluding to a denial after repentance, for "in allusions there is room to avoid lying."
