Allah accepts the repentance of a servant who regrets the sin of sodomy and other sins, rejoices in it, forgives the sin, and transforms bad deeds into good deeds, provided that the conditions for sincere repentance are met. The , "Whoever is pleased by his good deed and displeased by his bad deed, that is the believer," describes the believer who rejoices in obedience and grieves over disobedience. The repentant person is advised to keep good company and to stay away from bad companions and everything that reminds him of the sin. It is also important to know the worldly punishment for this abomination to avoid it.
