What is the ruling on reciting the morning and evening adhkar on behalf of another person for protection from envy?

There is no evidence for thecribing the recitation of morning and evening remembrances (adhkar) on behalf of others. However, there is evidence for the permissibility of supplicating for others and seeking Allah's protection for children and family from all evil. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn with the perfect words of Allah from every devil and harmful creature, and from every evil eye. The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered.
