What is the ruling on the morning and evening adhkar?

The morning and evening remembrances (adhkar) are a great Sunnah with immense virtues. Not performing them does not make a Muslim sinful, but it deprives him of much good and great rewards. The remembrance of Allah fills the emptiness and poverty of the heart, making its possessor rich, mighty, and awe-inspiring, unlike the heedless person who is poor, humiliated, and contemptible. Moreover, the remembrance of Allah aids in His obedience, making it beloved to the servant and easy for him.
