How can our master Yunus or the whale remain alive in its belly until the Day they are resurrected?

The intent of the verse is that the belly of the whale would be a grave for Yunus until the Day of Resurrection. Al-Sha'rawi explained the difficulty of his remaining in the belly of the whale "until the Day they are resurrected" by stating that the whale contained Yunus. So, even if the whale and Yunus died and their particles interacted, the whale would still contain Yunus despite the scattering of their particles.
