Is the use of supplication the only remaining solution for Muslims in light of their loss of democracy, respect, and freedom of expression, and what is the role of scholars in protecting them and calling for the application of law?

The reference for healing and well-being in diagnosing the illness, and the dire state of the Ummah, results from the absence of Allah's Sharia and the rejection of the methodology of the Salaf, and not from the absence of democracy. Healing from this illness can only be achieved by returning to Allah and adhering to the Book and the Sunnah. A Muslim must rely on Allah alone for bringing benefit and warding off harm, while taking the necessary means. The role of the scholars of the Ummah is to guide people and call them to Allah.
