When are supplications answered, and what should be done for them to be answered, and why has the situation not changed despite adhering to the etiquettes of supplication, and how can one strengthen their soul and avoid sadness?

A Muslim must rely on Allah, persistently and sincerely supplicate, and frequently seek forgiveness, while taking all necessary measures, having a good opinion of Allah, and avoiding despair or hastening the answer, as this might hinder the effect of the supplication. A Muslim should also know that Allah Almighty does nothing but good for His believing servant. Among the important supplications that relieve worry and pay off debt is: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, and I seek refuge in You from inability and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men." Finally, it should be noted that Allah Almighty is not Himself in every place; rather, He is established upon His Throne, and His encompassment of creation is through His knowledge and power.
