How can the Almighty's saying: (Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity) be reconciled with His saying: (and be steadfast in His worship), and (And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me)?

There is no contradiction between the verses: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity," and "So patiently persevere in His worship," and "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." The first verse means that Allah does not burden anyone beyond their capacity, and that is from His kindness and facilitation. As for the second verse, it is a command to be patient in worship, and the third verse clarifies that the purpose of creating jinn and mankind is to worship and unify Allah. These verses are in agreement and consistent; worship may not be free of hardship, but it is a hardship that is not considered [significant] if a person can perform the work with it normally. Hardship is considered [significant] Islamically if it leads to destruction or damage, where "hardship brings ease."
