Is it permissible to shorten the Asr prayer if its time becomes due on the way back to Faiyum after finishing work in 6th of October?

If the distance between the country you are traveling from and the country you are traveling to reaches the distance of qasr (shortening prayers), which is approximately 83 kilometers, then you are subject to the rulings of a traveler. In this case, it is permissible for you to shorten the four-rak'ah prayers to two rak'ahs (which is preferable, unless you pray behind an imam who completes the prayer). It is also permissible for you to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, either by advancing the Asr prayer (taqdim) or delaying the Dhuhr prayer (ta'khir). However, if the distance does not reach the distance of qasr, then none of these concessions are permissible for you.
