What is the ruling on clinking glasses together, as a form of entertainment, for the purpose of imitating alcohol, knowing that they do not contain any forbidden drink?

Clinking glasses is forbidden if the one doing it intends to imitate the drinkers of alcohol from among the disbelievers or the wicked, whether for entertainment or otherwise, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
