Is it true that if cups are clinked together, it becomes forbidden to drink from them?

Tilting cups is not among the things that make drinking from them forbidden. However, it might be an imitation of disbelievers or wicked people who drink alcohol. Imitating disbelievers is strictly forbidden due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
