Is selling counterfeit clothing available in the markets—which the state formally prohibits trading in—considered a matter of necessity and widespread affliction, and is it permissible to sell it?

It is permissible to sell counterfeit clothes and goods on condition that the buyer is informed that they are counterfeit; otherwise, it would be prohibited deception. Islam has forbidden deception in sales due to its involvement in deceiving Muslims and unlawfully consuming people's wealth, as well as harming merchants who sell original goods. Whoever is truthful and clarifies will have blessings in their sale, while whoever conceals and lies will have the blessings of their sale erased.
