Will God answer the prayer of a mother against her daughter for ruin, death, and torment, when the mother is afflicted with Alzheimer's disease, knowing that the daughter was dutiful to her?

A mother's prayer against her daughter does no harm if the daughter is dutiful, because the prayer of parents against their child is answered if the child has wronged them. The mother does not have the right to prevent her daughter from marrying a suitable man. It is permissible for a woman to offer herself in marriage to a righteous man, within certain guidelines. Dutifulness to parents is among the most beloved deeds to Allah and a cause for His pleasure.
