Are a mother's prayers against her daughter answered, and is the daughter considered disobedient to her mother, especially since the mother prays for her disgrace, failure, and humiliation, takes two-thirds of her salary, and prevents her from eating at home, all after the mother helped the daughter's brothers expel the father from the home and refused his return to live with them, while the daughter strives to honor her parents and helps her aunt?

He who is afflicted with a mother whose condition is like that of this mother must be patient and counter ill-treatment with kindness; he will then receive a doubled reward, and the reward for enduring harm increases as the harm intensifies, bearing in mind that this worldly life is short. Repentance and seeking forgiveness are obligatory, for no affliction descends except due to a sin, and none is removed except through repentance. The mother's supplication does not harm if the child is righteous and not disobedient. The mother has no right to take money from her daughter except with her consent. The mother's rejection of suitors without a legitimate Sharia reason is a grave reprehensible act, and the guardian is the father, and the daughter must help her father if he has no helper other than her. It is preferable to seek mediation through some people of goodness to stop the mother's injustice.
