It is permissible to photograph and sell inanimate objects, such as natural landscapes and cars. It is forbidden to photograph living beings except out of necessity, such as photographing for identification. It is permissible to sell photography equipment, similar to selling weapons; the sin lies with whoever uses them for unlawful purposes, unless the seller knows the buyer's bad intention, in which case he should not sell to him. The money earned from photography is permissible, except for that which comes from photographing living beings, in which case its value must be given in charity to the poor.
