What is the ruling on money earned from photography work? Is it unlawful, and what should be done with it?

You are not at fault for the money you earned from photography due to your ignorance of the Shariah ruling or the presence of doubt, based on Allah's saying concerning those who deal in usury: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he may have what has passed, and his affair rests with Allah." This verse implies the permissibility of past earnings from an unlawful activity if the servant repents and refrains from it. If you donate it as a precautionary measure, that is good, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever guards against doubtful matters has indeed acquitted himself with regard to his religion and his honor." I do not know of any clear evidence that makes it obligatory to donate it.
