What is the ruling on someone who describes a man's nakedness with lewd descriptions in a gathering of men, without explicitly naming him, but with some of those present knowing the person intended, and is the حد of slander applicable to him?

Allah commanded good speech and warned against indecency. A Muslim must be chaste in speech regarding the private matters of others. Whoever seeks out the faults of Muslims, Allah will seek out his faults and expose him. Whoever speaks about people's honor has invited others to speak about his own honor, for "as you judge, you will be judged." Merely describing a man's private parts is not a slander that necessitates the prescribed punishment (hadd), but it does necessitate discretionary punishment (ta'zir) and discipline. The slander that necessitates the prescribed punishment is accusing someone of adultery or sodomy without four witnesses.
