Do folk jokes indicate the permissibility of insincere jesting that does not imply truthfulness, and is the Hadith: "Woe to him who speaks a narration and lies in order to make people laugh..." applicable to false jesting that implies truthfulness?

The reports narrated from Al-Sha'bi and other scholars do not contradict what was previously mentioned. Al-Sha'bi did not initiate speech with the intention of jesting; rather, he responded to the speaker in a manner appropriate to the nature of his words. So, his statement, "I was crowded in the womb," does not contain falsehood due to the presence of his twin, and his saying, "this one," referring to his wife, was an act of disapproval expressed in a style befitting the situation.
