The connection between tides and the moon and its phases has been known since ancient times and does not contradict Allah Almighty's management of the universe. It is one of the causes that Allah has linked to their effects, as the moon influences moisture and seas, and their ebb and flow.

As for stars, they have several meanings. They may refer to celestial bodies that emit their own light, or planets, or specifically the Pleiades constellation, which is a protection for the sky. Meteors and meteorites are connected to stars. Meteors are meteorites that originate from stars and occur due to the friction of certain bodies with the atmosphere. It is not the entire stars that are hurled, but their meteors. Stars have been made as an adornment for the sky, as projectiles against devils, and as signs by which people are guided. There is no contradiction between what is stated in Islamic law and scientific facts, as there is nothing that restricts meteors to what falls from planets to stone devils.

As for meteorites, they are projectiles that do not burn up if they fall to Earth.
