The blood discharged by a cat during birth is impure (najis), but if it dries, it does not render impure any dry objects it touches. Therefore, nothing from the places or clothes that the cat touched became impure as long as the impurity on it had dried. When there is doubt about the transfer of impurity, its transfer is not decreed, because the default state is the persistence of purity. Thus, it is not obligatory to wash any clothes or purify any places except when one is certain of the impurity's transfer. Touching a cat does not affect the validity of ablution (wudu'). We advise you not to succumb to obsessive doubts (waswas); because they lead to great evil.
