Is it permissible to change the purchase date on the warranty certificate for an electrical appliance that broke down after the original warranty period expired, knowing that the delay in repairing it was due to personal circumstances?

The company is obligated to guarantee the device and repair it free of charge during the agreed-upon warranty period, in accordance with the hadith, "Muslims are bound by their conditions." However, after the expiration of this period, the company is not obligated to repair it based on the warranty. Delaying the submission of the device for repair without a valid excuse until the period expires forfeits the right to free repair, as this is considered an acceptance of its current condition. It is not permissible to falsify the warranty date to obtain free repair, as this is deception, forgery, and consuming people's wealth unlawfully, based on the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever cheats is not one of us." However, if the delay in submission was due to an acceptable excuse beyond one's control, then you have the right to claim your right to repair, because the defect occurred during the warranty period.
