Is the virtue of one who recites ten verses, that a qintar of reward be written for him, specific to one who recites them at night after 'Isha and before Fajr, following the example of the Tahajjud prayer mentioned in the verse: "Their sides forsake their beds"?

The hadith, "Whoever prays with ten verses will not be recorded among the heedless," means that whoever prays this amount between Maghrib and Isha is hoped to attain this reward, because prayer between the two 'Ishas is considered part of night prayer (qiyam al-layl). The verse, "Their sides forsake their beds," has been interpreted as referring to prayer between the two 'Ishas, as narrated from Anas. This does not negate that prayer in the last part of the night is superior, for "The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is a man's prayer in the middle of the night."
