Is it permissible for a Muslim to marry off his daughter for the sake of Allah the Almighty, without a dowry?

The existence of wealth is a condition for marriage, based on the Almighty's saying: "And lawful for you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse," and the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Seek, even if it is a ring of iron." If one marries without a dowry, the dowry of the like [of her] becomes obligatory. It is permissible to marry in exchange for teaching the woman something from the Qur'an or beneficial knowledge, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) action. The dowry is a right of the woman, so if she, being of sound mind, waives it, that is valid, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and [thereby] enjoy it."
