What should I do about my friends who treat me badly, some of whom commit sins and ask me to be silent and not to complain?
It is fitting for the repentant person to befriend their disobedient companions and invite them with wisdom and good counsel, enduring their harm, so that Allah may guide them; for indeed, "for Allah to guide one man through you is better than red camels." It is preferable for the call to be individual. And whoever among them becomes upright, accompany them. But whoever insists on disobedience, do not accompany them, and continue only with calling them, for "a person is on the religion of their close friend." What you mentioned regarding grave transgressions is serious; therefore, it is obligatory to condemn them, and it is forbidden to remain silent about them.
