Is killing the sorcerer an act of apostasy or a Hadd punishment?

Killing a sorcerer can be a hadd (punishment prescribed by Allah) or an act of riddah (apostasy), depending on his disbelief (kufr). If his disbelief is established, then killing him is an act against apostasy. If not established, then killing him is a hadd. Sorcerers must be punished due to the great harm they cause and their role in separating spouses. The ruler must execute them without seeking repentance if the killing is a hadd. However, if it is an act against apostasy, then the apostate should be asked to repent. The killing of an apostate is not considered a hadd because he is given a chance to repent, and the hudud are expiations. In contrast, killing an apostate is not an expiation, and one who kills an apostate is not prayed over. The killing of sorcerers aligns with Sharia rules because they spread corruption on earth.
