Does anyone incur a sin as a result of the shadow of a Quranic verse containing the word "Allah" appearing on the floor of a building entrance, which leads to it being trodden upon by feet and shoes? And if there is a sin, upon whom does it fall, and what is the correct action to take?

It is not permissible to expose any of the names of Allah, or a verse from His Book, or a prophetic hadith to disrespect. Writing the majestic word (Allah) on a door or wall is permissible as long as it does not lead to disrespect, such as the shadow of the name falling on the ground and being trodden upon. This must be changed by preventing the shadow from falling or by effacing the name. If the place belongs to the doer, he must change it; if it belongs to someone else, he should be advised by explaining the sanctity of the matter. If he does not respond, then the sin is upon him and upon whoever treads on it out of contempt.
