What is the ruling on eating a dog's puppy for medical treatment after trying several previous treatments?

The basic principle regarding medical treatment with forbidden substances is that it is prohibited. An exception is made for situations of necessity, based on the Almighty's saying: "And He has already explained to you what He has forbidden to you, except for that to which you are compelled." So, if it is medically proven that eating puppy meat is a cure for some diseases, there is no harm in consuming it for medical treatment, provided there is no alternative that can take its place.
