What is the ruling on praying two rak'ahs after the Sa'y in 'Umrah or Hajj?

Performing two rak'ahs after the Sa'i is not sunnah. The Hanafis' reliance on the hadith of Al-Muttalib ibn Abi Wada'ah for this is mistaken for two reasons: First, the correct narration is "when he finished his seven circuits" meaning his circumambulation (tawaf), not his "Sa'i." Second, the hadith is weak. All other scholars have rejected the desirability of this prayer and considered it an innovation (bid'ah).
