Does seeking forgiveness grant physical strength, what are the recommended times and numbers for seeking forgiveness to increase strength, and what are the supplications and incantations that increase strength?
A good intention transforms a habit into an act of worship, and seeking forgiveness increases one's strength. Allah Almighty says: "And add strength to your strength." Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) gives the one who remembers a strength that exceeds what they can bear without it. Ibn al-Qayyim witnessed a wondrous strength in Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah in his walking, speech, courage, and writing. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught his daughter Fatimah and Ali, may Allah be pleased with them, to say SubhanAllah thirty-three times, Al-hamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times every night when they went to bed. It was said that whoever perseveres in this will find strength in their body sufficient to do without a servant. It is incumbent upon the believer to remember Allah Almighty at all times and in all states. Therefore, the servant should frequently remember Allah Almighty and seek forgiveness, and the more they do so, the better. Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance And exalt Him morning and afternoon." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek Allah's forgiveness one hundred times a day.
