What is the 'awrah of a woman in front of other women and her mahrams, and what must she cover in these situations?

The 'awrah (intimate parts) of a Muslim woman in front of other Muslim women is the area between the navel and the knee. As for in front of non-Muslim women, it is permissible to uncover the face, the hands, and what is ordinarily exposed when performing work. Some scholars limited this permissibility to the face and hands only. The 'awrah of a woman in front of her maharim (unmarriageable kin) is what becomes apparent when she is doing household chores, such as the shins, forearms, neck, and what hangs down from her hair.
