What is Imam al-Nawawi's stance on bestiality?

Having intercourse with animals is unanimously prohibited and considered one of the abominable acts from which sound human nature recoils, due to the Almighty's saying: "And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed," and due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever has intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal." The jurisprudential disagreement in this matter does not concern the prohibition itself, but rather the rulings that result from this act, such as the obligation of expiation, the invalidation of fasting, and so forth.
